Maeve Graduated with an honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the British Collage of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999.
Maeve has worked in London, Dublin and Northern Ireland since graduating. Maeve had her own practice in Donnybrook Dublin with a GP from 2001 -2006. It was a family practice and concentrated on treating pregnancy babies and children.
On Moving to Northern Ireland Maeve was chosen to be part of a ground breaking pilot project for the NHS. Working in East Belfast for 2 years concentrating on reducing Low back pain and mental health issues on the NHS. It was extremely Successful, and the results were taken on by the English and Scottish Governments.
Maeve opened her own practice in Bangor in 2006 and has continued to grow the Bangor Osteopathic Clinic Along with her growing family. Maeve has continually studied since graduating in all areas of Osteopathy. Maeve has completed all the Modules in the Peadiatric Osteopathy Diploma, and continues to study with the Sutherland Cranial Collage. Maeve has also under taken the Bio Dynamic Osteopathic course 8 year programme and is half way through at the moment.
Maeve has a keen interest in treating the whole family, babies children of all ages, parents and grandparents.
Maeve also completed her Dissertation on Golf related injuries. Maeve has a keen interest in playing lots of sport Golf, Hockey, tennis to name a few, and has a keen interesting in treating sporting injuries.
Maeve uses a variety of Techniques which she has learned over the 20 + years she has been Qualified. Including Structural Osteopathy, Cranial Osteopathy, Dry needling, Emotion Code, Scenar, exercise Therapy, Taping.
